DELTATRAVELER follows Kris, Susie, and their party as they travel through different worlds, searching for a grey door to reach the next setting. The core gameplay combines overworld exploration, character interactions, and turn-based encounters featuring bullet-hell SOUL dodging.

The journey spans three continuous Sections. Progression, inventory, and your choices carry over as you travel. When you encounter a SAVE point, it's recommended to record your progress.

About DELTATRAVELER

DELTATRAVELER is a popular fan game crossing the mechanics and characters of Deltarune with Undertale and other classic RPG worlds. The story revolves around Kris and Susie getting separated from their usual adventures and navigating completely different dimensions.

The gameplay features classic turn-based encounters where you can choose to FIGHT, ACT, or SPARE your opponents. The party system allows different characters to use TP and unique spells. During enemy turns, you must defend your SOUL by dodging bullet-hell attack patterns.

The classic version of DELTATRAVELER includes Sections 1 through 3. Development direction for the project has since moved toward a reboot called DELTARUNE INTERDREAM, meaning this classic iteration will remain focused on its currently released Sections.

DELTATRAVELER Sections & Routes

Section 1 — In Ruins
Kris and Susie arrive in Undertale's Ruins, encountering familiar faces and navigating the initial puzzles.

Section 2 — Oh, Mother
The journey moves into an EarthBound-inspired world with completely new aesthetic elements and mechanics.

Section 3 — Hell's Forest
The party enters the intense GG!Underfell setting, facing harder battles and aggressive adversaries.

Alternate Routes
Players sometimes search for a "genocide route," but DELTATRAVELER calls its kill-focused alternate path the Obliteration Route. Triggering this route requires specific encounter exhaustion conditions, not just defeating a few enemies. Additionally, entering the name FRISK at the beginning enables a specific Hard Mode for Section 1.

Gameplay Tips

• Always click the game window after it loads or after minimizing your browser to restore keyboard focus.
• Not every enemy needs to be defeated. Choosing to FIGHT, ACT, or SPARE will affect how encounters play out and influence your route.
• Manage your TP carefully in battles. Get comfortable with defending and grazing bullets to build TP before relying heavily on spells.
• The Sections are a continuous journey, not isolated episodes. Take advantage of SAVE points frequently to preserve your progress across worlds.
• The Obliteration Route requires you to actively exhaust enemy encounters in areas before proceeding. If you are playing for the first time, it's recommended to follow a normal route rather than attempting Obliteration immediately.
• Pay attention to changes in your SOUL color and mechanics. Adjust your movement strategy according to the specific rules of each battle.
